Approval of Minutes
The December 8, 2021 Board Meeting minutes were approved.

Sectionals Report
The sectionals went well. The woodwinds need a space to have their Spring sectional. Gennie can schedule the Wedgwood Community Church for them if needed.

Grant Status and Fundraising
There are some potential grants that we can apply for. Jackie needs more information to see if we meet the criteria. Doug and Bruce will help her.

The topic of creating a distribution list for notifying people of our concerts was discussed. Here some questions about the list the Jackie was wondering about:

Questions:
• Who maintains the distribution list? Would that person be willing to receive new names/contact info.?
• What deadline should we give for folks to submit names?
• Who can provide the number of views we have for our Fall concert? Bruce, do you have access to that number?
• Any suggested changes to this text?

Financial Status
We have no outstanding liabilities. We have not received money from all the participating members this quarter. There are 45 participants this year.

Membership status
Anne is still waiting for people to donate.

Repertoire for Spring Concert
Teresa had to change the repertoire for the Spring Concert, because the soloist we planned on can not play. The Spring Concert music will be as follows:

Leonard Bernstein (1918–1990), Candide Overture (1956)

Max Bruch (1838-1920), Romanze in F major for viola and orchestra, Op. 85 (1911)
Annie Chang-Center, soloist

Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (1875-1912), Petite Suite de Concert, Op. 77 (1911)
1. La Caprice de Nannette
2. Demande et Réponse
3. Un Sonnet d'Amour
4. La Tarantelle Frétillante

Concert Status
The Winter Concert will presumably be online. We need to hire someone to run the technical stuff for the concert. We are anticipating performing a live concert Spring quarter at the National Nordic Museum. This will depend on the Covid restrictions. For future concerts, Gennie continues to seek different venues for concerts.

Piece for MC newsletter
The Music Center of the Northwest wants to include the Rain City Symphony in their newsletter. Charlotte will include the Symphony's history, which she would like some assistance with and our YouTube "channel".

Door Monitoring
The door monitoring seems to be working. The mask mandate might be changed March 1st. We will need to follow what the Music Center requires.

Next Board Meeting
The next Board Meeting is on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at the Music Center of the Northwest.
